Four legged bridge walker enjoys post 83..

Just a few words about work today. As a rule I will not/should not discuss work in my blog. Other than venting, no real good can come from it. While nobody that I work with reads my blog (that I know of) it is in the public realm and searchable.  With that opening disclaimer, here goes.

Today I was the garbage man at work. Not really, don’t envision the bib overalls and the big truck. No this was more like hey Limeguy, I/we messed this up, we’re leaving the job site. The customer needs….. (a long list) fixed.  This is a common occurrence. Usually the problem is with one of the installers, today it was with both at the same time. Thankfully, I did not have much of my own work scheduled.  One call was a simple fix, one and done.  The other was a new install that kept getting better as I went along.  I was able to resolve all the problems.  I just dislike getting dumped on and then put down to management by the same person.    Enough, deep breath and smile.

I can smile!  I just did. Tonight I am going to yoga with my DW. That should help center me (whatever that means). After yoga a buddy and I are going to check out a new adult lacrosse opportunity. The price is right and only 40 minutes away. The indoor field is five minutes from my job. Game time tonight is 9:45 to 10:45 pm. I should be able to sleep tonight. Tomorrow my DW and I start yoga at the local adult school.  Neither of us have ever done yoga there. I’m not really sure what to expect, but we both are going in with an open mind.  Empty nest = getting out and exercising I guess.

One minor correction is needed to a previous post. The young lady that DS3 met at mass on Friday is named Caroline. Like the street in Key West.

Sorry for the work venting. Everybody has issues at work. What is important to me is that work does NOT define who I am. I feel my family and friends define who I am as a person. Work just pays the bills. With that attitude I will never get to be president.  Oh well.

Tonight’s picture is from Saturday’s bridge walk. Enjoy!

Vent away P I find alot of work people have their own selfish agenda and are best ignored when they act out. I have: walked away, turned the other cheek, sucked it up with the best of them, I will never be president either
